From the beginning, the company has wanted to give tourists the opportunity to get to know local people, culture and nature through adventure activities. The Adventure Apes operate in Kuusamo, Orivesi and Tampere and run their own accommodation in an old village school building in Kuusamo that was amended to suit the needs of accessibility. Visit Finland has selected the product as one of the most authentic Finnish products and the company was awarded Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel Finland label in 2020.
